Terms & Conditions

Terms

  • As the artist, I hold all rights to post all works on my social media (Twitter, Instagram, etc.), portfolios, and samples.

  • Please note that my art style may change.

  • I will only start working on the commission upon confirmation of the initial payment.

  • All commissions are for PERSONAL USE ONLY.

  • If the client wishes to gain commercial rights for the commission(s), the client has to pay an extra 100% of the commission price.

  • @lightescence should be FULLY CREDITED upon posting/using the commissioned piece.

  • Prices may vary depending on the complexity of the commission.

  • Payments are ONLY accepted through Paypal in USD.

  • Paypal Tax is shouldered by the client.

  • NO REFUNDS once 30% of the commission process has been completed.

  • Down payment is non-refundable.

  • I may REFUSE a commission offer if I am certain that I will not be able to deliver well. I may also refuse commission due to other personal reasons (health, college, etc.).

  • I have the right to cancel the commission due to poor communication, inappropriate/rude behaviour(s), or a breach of any of these terms. There will be no refunds for cancelled commissions due to these reasons.

  • If these terms have been violated, the commission will be cancelled and the client will be blacklisted.

The Commission Process

  1. We will discuss the illustration design and details through either Twitter or Discord.

  2. I will send you a rough draft for the sketch/illustration. Up to 5 major revisions are permitted during the sketching stage, free of charge. +$5.00 per additional revision.

  3. Once the sketch has been approved, I will start working on the lineart and base coloring. Only 1 major revision is permitted during this stage for free. Additional revisions will cost $15.00.

  4. I will then render and finalize the illustration (not applicable to Vanilla Frappuccino).

  5. I will send you a low quality version of the finalized illustration.

  6. You are expected to send the full payment before I give you the finalized illustration.

  7. The commission is considered completed after I send the zip file containing the PNG file(s) of the final illustration/sketch(es) and the PNG file(s) of the character(s) with a transparent background.

The Payment Process

  1. Only upfront payment is accepted for the Vanilla Frappuccino commissions.

  2. A payment of at least 30% of the agreed upon price is required before beginning to work on the project (not applicable to Vanilla Frappuccino).

  3. The PNG files shall only be sent after the outstanding payment has been received and confirmed.
